The National Health Service (NHS) is turning 70!

On Thursday 5 July 2018 the NHS is going to be 70 years old!  Over the last 70 years the NHS has transformed the health and wellbeing of the nation. For more information about the NHS turning 70 visit:

To celebrate the 70th Birthday of the NHS, there are lots of events going on all over the country, including right here in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

  • Three exciting time capsules have been created as part of the NHS 70 celebrations for the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.  One will be buried in Peterborough City Hospital, Monday 2 July. Another will be buried in  Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Wednesday 4 July.  Click here to find out more...
  • Hinchingbrooke Hospital will have open days on Thursday 5 July and Saturday 14 July.  Take a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of the hospital, including theatres and pathology.
