Get patients involved with the help of our Patient Participation Group toolkit
Such groups provide a platform for patients to deliver meaningful feedback on the services a GP surgery offers and give useful suggestions for developing care.
Our PPG toolkit is designed to help practices set up a PPG. We have recently reviewed and updated its content, which draws on the experience of existing PPGs across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, as well as support that is available nationally.
It includes suggestions about recruiting members, how a PPG works, and activities that PPGs can get involved in to shape local services.

Tell us what works for you
We are keen to include more examples of what works in developing a successful PPG.
Get in touch with us if you have a good example to share or want to talk to us about building a stronger PPG.
Attending our regular place-based Health and Care Forums can be a great way for PPG representatives to engage with the general public and local health and social care providers and get your voice heard.
Each forum meeting is held every two months and they cover the following areas:
- Cambridge City & South Cambridgeshire
- Fenland & East Cambridgeshire
- Huntingdonshire
- Peterborough (details available on our Peterborough website)
