Healthwatch Chair receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Stewart Francis, Chair of Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Peterborough City Council for his services to Health, Transport, Broadcasting and Culture.
Presented to Stewart by Cllr Wayne Fitzgerald at a reception held at Peterborough Town Hall and attended by the Mayor and CEO and Leader of the Council, the award recognises his achievements working in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough since the 1980s, most recently with Healthwatch.
In his current role, Stewart challenges those responsible for delivering health and care services to engage with the public in designing better services and he has a seat on the new Integrated Care Board to help champion patients’ voices.
