Update on East Barnwell Health Centre
NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board (ICB) were notified by the current providers of GP services at East Barnwell Health Centre of their intention to end their current contract on 9 October 2024.
The ICB, the organisation who are responsible for commissioning (buying) primary care services locally, has launched an open procurement process to find a new provider of general practice services for East Barnwell Health Centre from 10 October 2024.
Patients can continue to access services at the surgery in the same way as they always have during this time, and the ICB is working alongside community groups to ensure that feedback from patients is taken onboard as part of the procurement process.
The new provider will be announced at the end of August 2024.
