New GP service provider for East Barnwell Health Centre announced

This new contract will start on 10 October 2024 and be for a period of seven years, with the option to extend for up to a further three years. 

Ongoing access to local primary health and care services to the local communities has been the priority throughout the process. 

Malling Health is an experienced provider of NHS GP services and manages several GP practices, including others in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The contract is for the same GP services that patients currently receive and will continue to run from the East Barnwell Health Centre. Malling Health will now work closely with the current contract holders to ensure a smooth transfer of services and staff. Patients can continue to access the practice and services as they do now via the existing number on 01223 728900, or via the practice website www.eastbarnwellhealthcentre.co.uk

Patients currently registered at East Barnwell will receive letters providing details about its future.
