Physical Disability Partnership Board Minutes April 2023 to March 2024

This meeting had a presentation from Stop Hate UK about Hate Crime, what it is, how to report it, and the support available to people who experience it.

This meeting had a presentation and discussion about the Making Connections proposals by the Greater Cambridge Partnership.

This meeting had a presentation and discussion on the upcoming assessment by the Care Quality Commission that both Council's Adult Social Care will be having.

This meeting had a presentation and discussion from Cambridgeshire Police ethics team about Stop and Search, so that people understand what it is and how it should be carried out. There was also discussion and guidance from the Partnership Board to help the Police understand concerns people may have when their disability aids, such as wheelchairs, walking sticks etc are searched.

The Partnership Board had a presentation on the Care Together Programme from Cambridgeshire County Council.
